Reception's Class Assembly will be held on Friday, 13th June at 9am.

Children are to wear their PE kits on these days.

If your child wears earrings, please ensure that you provide tape so the earrings can be covered for safety.

Sports Day

This year's Sports Day will be held on Tuesday 1st July 2025.  

Key Stage 2 will start at 9.45am

EYFS and Key Stage 1 will start at 1.45pm

Mr McQuaide

This summer we will be saying goodbye to Mr McQuaide after 6 years at St Joseph’s. 

As we have shared with you all in recent years, the number of new children to Reception has fallen drastically.  Since 2022 we have gone from a 1.5 form entry school to a 1 form entry.  This means we accept 30 pupils each year rather than 45.  The fall in numbers is common across West Warrington and further.  Consequently, the number of classes at St Joseph’s has had to be gradually reduced.  In becoming a 1 form entry school, we have gone from eleven classes in 2021/22 to nine presently and ultimately seven classes in 2027/28.  Sadly, this means we have to lose teachers. 

We thank Mr McQuaide for his service at St Joseph’s and pray his future may be fruitful.
