Easter Blessings
We celebrate the culmination of our Christian faith by uniting ourselves to the passion, death and resurrection of Our Lord at Easter. If you can, try to find some time to spend in prayer over those special days. Even better, join the Church in each celebration:
· 13 April - 8:30am and 4:00pm - Palm Sunday
· 17 April – 7:00pm - Maundy Thursday and the celebration of the washing of the feet and the institution of the priesthood and the Eucharist
· 18 April – 3:00pm - Good Friday celebration of the Lord’s Passion and Death
· 19 April – 8:00pm - Holy Saturday and the Vigil Mass
· 20 April – 8:30am and 4:00pm - Easter Sunday
The whole of Holy Week is one celebration of the Father’s love for us in giving us His Son for our sins. If you would like to reflect further on Good Friday, please follow the link below. I made this vodcast two years ago after a discussion with some of our children.

CAFOD’s Big Lent Walk
There are still two weeks left in Lent even though we are off school. Please encourage your child to do their best in walking for Cafod. When we return on Tuesday 22 April, we can count the miles we’ve all walked and any sponsorship monies raised can be either sent into school or donated via the link or QR code below:

Ofsted Inspection and Parent View
It is five years this month since our last Ofsted inspection, and as you would probably expect if you follow reports in the media, schools become somewhat nervous around this time as we want to show off all the good things we do for our children. The Parent View survey is one way we can listen to parents and affect change if necessary.
Presently, there are only a handful of replies to our 10-minute Parent View questionnaire which cannot give us useful information. Please support us in completing this as it helps us review our practice.

Food allergies
Please be reminded that some of our children suffer with severe allergic reactions to peanuts, nuts, lentils and peas. If an anaphylactic reaction occurs we are trained to immediately use Jext pens of Epipens and call 999.
Please do not use Nivea suncream as it has almond oil in it and we have children with severe nut allergies.
Please do not send any items containing the above into school for your child’s lunch or snack. This includes spreads like Nutella as it has hazelnut as an ingredient.
Thank you for your support, as always.
