Happy birthday to all the children and staff who have had or who will be celebrating their birthdays this week.
Pippa Hassett, Rosa Fairhurst, Mariella Morley, Sophia Greenwood, Joy Ko, Nyla Reid and Mrs Ford
We hope you have had or will have a lovely day!
At St Joseph's this Lent, we are standing in solidarity with our global brothers and sisters by taking part in CAFOD's Big Lent Walk. We are aiming to collectively walk 750km throughout Lent. We will be taking part in walks throughout the week at school to add to our total - some children and staff started their walks today!
Also, you can take part and add some kilometres to our Big Lent Walk total as a family. Please email photos@stjprimary.co.uk telling us where you walked and how far you walked as a family, and feel free to send in any pictures. Also, please share any walks you do outside of school to our social media platforms - we'd love to see how you get on.
You can make a donation directly to CAFOD on our school's Just Giving page. If each child is sponsored £1, we'd raise over £200 for CAFOD.
So far, our children, families and staff have walked over 500km!! Great work everyone.
Find more information by clicking here. As always, thank you for your generosity.

Next Tuesday, Mrs Riches dance group will perform at the Parr Hall with pupils from other local schools. The PAN performance is always a great celebration of the arts and our children always do us proud. Thank you to Mrs Riches and Mrs Daly for their hard work.
Again, we did really well this week in the netball tournament and our girls are through to the All Cheshire finals next week. We wish them well.
Thank you for your donations of food stuffs for St Joseph's Family Centre. The very fact it is a monthly event speaks volumes about your generosity.
Thank you!
It’s that time of the year when we want to review how we are doing in school. It would help immensely if you followed the link below to register as a parent and share your views. Presently, only 12 people have responded. Thanks to them but we would need more to give us a clear picture of how parents perceive our practice.

Following the National Child Measurement Programme visit, the team have asked us to share the links below for further advice/guidance/support to encourage healthy family lifestyles, and also information about the Healthier Families Warrington Programme.

Next Tuesday we will celebrate our school and parish patron’s feast day. As a school we will go to church to celebrate Mass at 9:30am with Fr Raymond. All are welcome.
Two years ago, as part of my ongoing YouTube reflections on aspects of the Catholic faith, I produced a 10-minute talk on the person of Joseph and his place in the life of Jesus and in our lives.
If you can, please find the time to follow the link for this refection and share it with friends and family. It’s not directed at children but at adults wanting to find out more about our faith.
Our Reception Class Assembly will be on Wednesday, 20th March at 9.05am in school.
Please join us. We will love to see you.
Year 3 (Mrs Standen) class assembly will be on Thursday 28th March at 9.05am in school as we journey through Holy Week on Maundy Thursday.
Please join us. We will love to see you.
Please come and see the books for sale in the hall (or possibly the Year 2 class) next Monday to Wednesday after school. Profits made from the sale go towards school funds so we are always grateful for your generosity.
Please be reminded cars cannot stop to drop off children on the zig-zag lines outside the school gates. Neither should we park or stop across people's driveways.
It is illegal and also inconsiderate. One of our neighbours last week was delayed leaving home for an important hospital appointment. Also, a car was stopped on the corner of Larch Avenue, which is extremely hazardous for other road users and pedestrians.
Thank for your support.
