Year 6 Football Finals at Liverpool FC Academy, Tuesday, 16 April

Well done to the Year 6 footballers who participated in the Football Finals on Tuesday.  They qualified in November with 14 teams from Warrington and came top of our group.  We reached the quarter finals but  lost against a very good Chapelford Team but we had a fab day.   Everyone was very well behaved and Mr Williams said it was a real pleasure to have been part of this experience with the boys.

Well done!!

At St Joseph's this Lent, we are standing in solidarity with our global brothers and sisters by taking part in CAFOD's Big Lent Walk. We are aiming to collectively walk 750km throughout Lent. We will be taking part in walks throughout the week at school to add to our total - some children and staff started their walks today! 

Also, you can take part and add some kilometres to our Big Lent Walk total as a family. Please email photos@stjprimary.co.uk telling us where you walked and how far you walked as a family, and feel free to send in any pictures. Also, please share any walks you do outside of school to our social media platforms - we'd love to see how you get on.

You can make a donation directly to CAFOD on our school's Just Giving page. If each child is sponsored £1, we'd raise over £200 for CAFOD.

So far, our children, families and staff have walked over 500km!! Great work everyone.

PE Days for the first half term are as follows:

Monday:  Y3 KS, Y4 KD and YR MR

Tuesday:  Y2 CF/KR, Y3/4 NM, Y5 MW and Y6 RT 

Wednesday:  Y1 AH, Y2 CF/KR, Y3/4 NM amd Y6 MR

Thursday:  Y3 KS (Swimming), Y4 KD, Y5 MW and Y6 RT

Friday:  EYFS and Y1 AH

The date for Sports Day this year will be Tuesday 21st May, weather permitting. If this date has to be cancelled, then the reserve day will be Wednesday 26th June.
