Participation in leadership groups helps learners to further develop their interests and discover new passions. We believe that in order for our school to grow and evolve, our pupils' voices must be heard.

Learners follow the Curriculum for Excellence with an emphasis on play based experiences that stimulate curiosity and independence.

Digital technology is embedded within learning and teaching at Borestone Primary School. It enhances learning and teaching and equips our learners with vital digital skills.

Learners develop a common set of skills which allows them to prepare for a future world of work.

Outdoor learning enhances and enriches our curricular experiences. Borestone learners have access to and enjoy a large outdoor playground and neighbouring woodland.

ALL children have the same rights. At Borestone Primary we are committed to ensuring that ALL our children know their rights. We have worked hard to gain our Silver Rights Respecting Schools Award.

Our fully stocked library is home to works of fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels and many other publications, providing the perfect lending facility to allow our learners to establish their love of reading and reinforce skills learned in the classroom.
