Wackford

Wackford was found in an alley in Evanston, in October of 2008. The

woman who found him was unable to keep him, and found our friend Zoi,

online. (Zoi is the president of a ferret club in Evanston.)

Zoi was unable to take Wackford in at that time, and asked if we could

take him.

On October 24, 2008, Wackford came to join the family at Zoo`s Ferret

Sanctuary.

The little deaf boy was a bit on the thin side, and had a pretty

wirey- looking coat. He wasn`t very good with other ferrets, and he didn`t 

like being held, very much.

Within a few months, he was doing much better with others, and joined the

Star Wars group (our rowdiest!)

He grew a beautiful new coat, and began to allow us to snuggle him.

Wackford has come a long way, in the last year. He is truly a joy now.
