Genoa Boys
We received a call from a young woman in Genoa after we were on the
front page of the Weekly Journal in November of 2006.
She had three ferrets who weren`t getting enough attention after the birth
of her new baby.
I believe there was a two year old at home as well.
She was asking if we could take the ferrets in. She wanted to be sure the
ferrets would stay here, so she could keep in touch and visit them. We said
yes...
She & her mother in law promised to come & volunteer, a couple times a
month.

UPDATE: March 31, 2010
We lost Martini on December 12, 2008. His former family didn`t know,
because they never came back after the first year....
Rossi went adrenal about a year ago, & has been on lupron. This last
time though, he didn`t re-grow his fur. This usually indicates more serious
issues.
He runs & plays, and has a passion for life. He feels great, and has no idea
what is happening to him.

George went adrenal last month, & is now on the same chemotherapy. He
is missing a patch of fur between his shoulder blades. Hopefully, it will
come back. George is feeling good, and that`s what matters.
These two get along well with EVERYONE. They are very sweet boys, and
we are keeping our promise that they will stay here, & be loved until the
end.

UPDATE: April 8, 2010
We lost George today.
Late last night, he was running all over the room with the meds babies,
playing, having fun, & doing fine. This morning, I found him, unresponsive,
and in a twisted position. You never know who`s next, but we weren`t
expecting this. George was doing so wonderfully.
Rossi is now the last member of this group.
More later.
