Snicky

On January 24, 2009, Snicky came to join us. She was our first one in the

 new year.

Snicky was nearly 7 years old, and was showing signs of adrenal disease.

Her mommy couldn`t take care of her anymore. She was planning to

move soon, and her life was upside down. The mom did visit several times,

at first--but then she disappeared :(

This tiny little albino girl went through some really tough times, during

her first two months with us, but she has been amazingly strong.

The lupron shots have kept the adrenal disease at bay, and she really

enjoys playtime. She`s very tiny & fragile. She prefers to sleep alone, but

she likes playing with the gentler babies in the room.

UPDATE

It has been a year since she came to us. Wow. She`s nearly eight years

 old now!!!

The lupron continues to help her to feel good, but her fur is now very thin,

as is she. As fragile as she is, she still races around the room, & plays well

with others.

(New picture coming soon!)
