The article said that Secure Parking Pty Ltd planned to take over parking enforcement at Bathurst Chasefrom Bathurst Regional Council. According to several retailers, shoppers are staying away in droves. They also complained about Secure Parking Ptd Ltd terms and conditions of entry that says Secure Parking Pty Ltd "reserves the right to enter and move a car, and won’t accept responsibility for any damage done to the car in the process".

On 8th June 2012, Wilson Parking and Secure Parking Pty Ltd were named in the Herald Sun as two companies that give credit notes as change instead of cash. The article quotes Secure Parking commercial operations manager Jim Moran as confirming Secure Parking's ticket machines also issue IOU's in lieu of change.

Secure Parking were also formerly known as "S&K Car Park Managers Pty Ltd" or "S & K Car Park Management Pty Ltd"

Secure Parking admit to flaws in system

17/02/2014 Dandenong Journal - Loraine Doran unfairly fined when returning to her car to pick up her daughter at Dandenong Plaza in Melbourne. Traffic Monitoring Services who manage the car park for Secure Parking admitted the fault and said "we will hopefully have the system fixed in the future".

Secure Parking use TMS

Secure Parking have a fully owned subsidiary company called Traffic Monitoring Services (TMS) that they use to issue Infringement notices to vehicles. Secure Parking use TMS so that people do not connect TMS with Secure Parking as they do not want to damanage their own brand.

McDonalds use of Secure Parking

McDonalds have a contract with Secure Parking to manage the parking at its restaurants. There is generally between 45minutes and 2 hours free parking. If you exceed the limit, and don't pay for a ticket to extend the limit, a payment notice for $66.00 is placed on your windscreen. The Maribyrnong Leader reported on 19th April 2013 that several people had received payment notices in McDonalds Car Parks. Read more ....

Secure Parking shutdown by council

25/05/2012 Courier-Mail - Councillor Cooper confirmed the Secure Parking car parks in Stratton and Longland streets, Newstead, were shut down this week as council alleged Secure Parking had no approval to operate them.

Secure Parking withdraw another fine

Secure Parking withdrew a fine recently after the vehicle owner (who wasn't the driver of the vehicle) made a complaint to the South Australian Legal Practitioner's about about Secure Parking's lawyer Andrew Dnistriansky of law firm Botten Dnistriansky Kellis Lawyers.
