The Duck is a webcomics community, with thousands of creators and millions of fans. Creators post comics and interact with their fans. Every Duck member can comment on other comics. People also gather in the forums to discuss comics, news about comics, collaborating on comics, movies, politics, you name it. There are comics of every genre here, from romance to horror, science fiction to political humor. At last count it was over 25,000 different comics (not ALL of them currently updating, of course) and a few with over 1,000 pages.

As a creator you gain more readership the better your comic is and the more you participate in the community. The Duck offers a variety of tools to help you interact with readers and other creators, customize the appearance of your comic's webpage, build up associated content, publicize and even market your comic.
