You can have the "START" button and MENU in Windows 8. Just follow below instructions:

Instructions:

1. Go to this website (http://www.iobit.com/iobitstartmenu8.php) and download the application filename startmenu-setup.exe.

2. Run and complete the wizzards (all follow recommended settings) the filename startmenu-setup.exe.

3. After installation done, you able to see the START button.

4. Right click on the START button, you will see the small menu pop-up. Click on Settings (BOLD) or ALT+S.

5. Under the Start Menu 8, here is the General Settings (recommended).

6. Under the Start Menu 8, here is the Start Button (recommended).

7. Under the Start Menu 8, here is the Menu (recommended).

8. Under the Start Menu 8, here is the User Interface (recommended).
