7.11 Application Installation
Before you install please set your system regional date format to dd/MM/yyyy.
1. Install Firebird Database Server 1.5 at Server PC (For FOR MULTIPLE USERS ONLY)
(you can locate the Firebird 15 Database Server in CD under the DBServer\Firebird15 Folder).
2. Run the Setup.exe application under the SQL.Account Folder.
3. Follow the instruction.
4. If the Server PC had the Firewall, make sure you had add the Exception for Port No 3050 for TCP/IP.
For Accounting Version 3

INSTALLING FOR SINGLE USER
1. Once you finish install the SQL Financial Accounting, Double click the SQL Financial Accounting icon at the desktop.
2. System will ask for the Working Environment.
3. Select Standalone and click OK.
4. Select Create New Database and click OK twice.
5. Login to the system (User Name: ADMIN, Password: ADMIN).

INSTALLING FOR MULTIPLE USERS
At The Server PC
1. Follow the INSTALLING FOR SINGLE USER except the Step 5.
2. Double Click My Computer and browse it to eStream\SQLAccounting\Share folder and
share it as Full Control (i.e. able to Read and Write).
3. When asking for User Name and Password, Press Alt+Space bar.
4. Select Account Book Manger... | Server Properties (Click the down arrow).
5. Select the Database Server (e.g. Firebird 1.5 Server Properties)
6. In the Server Setting select Remote(TCP/IP) option and enter all the server information
(i.e. Setting
Server Alias : Server
Server Name or IP Address : 192.168.0.1.
Database Folder : C:\estream\SQLAccounting\DB
Server Backup Folder : C:\estream\SQLAccounting\Share
Network Backup Folder : \\Server\Share
7. Click the Test... button to check the status is Success.
If the Status font color is Red mean it that you had enter incorrect information.
8. Click OK and exit until asking for User Name and Password.
9. Login to the system (User Name: ADMIN, Password: ADMIN).
At the Workstation
1. Follow the INSTALLING FOR SINGLE USER except the Step 3 select Network.
2. In the Choose DCF option select Open Existing DCF and click OK.
3. In the Look in Field browse it to the Entire Network (Network Neighborhood) and look for your Server PC Name.
4. In the Server PC folder, double click the Share | Default.dcf File.
