07. How to set the Schedule Backup using Windows Schedule?

1) Download SQLAccDiagnosis

Install as normal.

Click on the External Batch Backup.

Set on as follow

Server IP = eg 192.168.0.1 (Server IP Address) or LocalHost (for standalone)

Target Backup Folder = Where you want to put the backup file

Database File = Select the company db file want to backup

(usually in C:\ProgramFiles\eStream\SQLAccounting\DB\.......)

Pack DB = Select this option if you wanted the system to do a backup then restore back

(optional)*

Remark , Status, DateTime = No need to set, system auto assign later

2)

For Windows XP

1. Open the Control Panel.

2. Look for Scheduled Task and double click.

3. Double Click Add Schedule Task.

4. Click Next.

5. Click <<Browse>> and look for "C:\eStream\Utilities\SQLAccDiagnosis\SQLScheduleBackup.exe"

6. Follow the wizard till end.

Note:

1. Remember to untick the option "Stop the task if it runs for xxx hrs " in the Settings tab.

2. Make sure your server is running when you set the time.

* Make sure there is no one is using the database on the time you set if you wanted to use this option.

For Windows 7

01. Open the Control Panel.

02. Look for Administrative Tools.

03. Double Click Task Scheduler.

04. Click Create Basic Task...

05. Enter Name "SQL Backup" & Click Next.

06. Click Next Again.

07. Set the Time to do tbe backup & Click Next.

08. Click Next Again.

09. Click <<Browse>> and look for "C:\eStream\Utilities\SQLAccDiagnosis\SQLScheduleBackup.exe"

10. Click Next.

11. Tick Open the Properties dialog for this task when I click Finish

12. Click Finish.

13. In General tab

- Set Run whether user is logged on or not

- Set Configure for: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2

14. In Condition & Settings Tab untick all options

15. Click OK & enter the password

Note: Make sure set this option on Administrator Power User (i.e. not working on Limited User Power)
