Palm Sunday, 17 April: Procession leaving Holland Markets at 10:15am to St Mary & St Nicolas church for 10:45am with children's activities at Spalding Baptist, Swan Street; organised by CTSD. The procession and service included readings, prayers and music by choir and ecumenical music group; the address was given by Dr Pete Atkins, chair of CTAL, encouraging the adoption of three virtues seen in Jesus on the day of his entry into Jerusalem on a donkey: ensure our timing is God's timing, be prepared for the cost of following God and be like Jesus himself in his courage and humility.
2011 Lent Lecture series details now available: each Monday evening lecture from 14 March until 11 April at Spalding Baptist church, PE11 1BT.
