George Bleeze, one of 13 children of William Thomas Bleeze, a gold and silver chaser, and Frederika Bleeze (nee Fisher) was born in Clerkenwell and enlisted at Camberwell. Aged 22, he married 19-year-old Louisa Mary Pearson on 22 August 1915 at St. Mark’s. Louisa later lived at 29 Boundary Lane, off Camberwell Road, Walworth, south-east London.
