Using Gmail Offline

With Gmail Offline, users can access their mail and compose new messages when they don't have an Internet connection, or when their connection is unreliable or slow. When users reconnect, Gmail automatically sends any outbound messages. Note that the maximum sync period for data is 30 days. 

Using the Gmail Offline Chrome app (recommended)

Gmail Offline capability is provided as a free Chrome web application.

Enable Offline Gmail for your Domain (paid Google Apps)

To turn on Offline Gmail:

When you enable Offline Gmail, your users will see a new Offline tab in their Gmail settings. Here is a shortcut link you can use after logging into your admin account: Click Here

Each user who wants to work offline must do the following to enable Offline Gmail:

Open Gmail Offline

When you first use Gmail Offline, you’ll be prompted to allow offline mail storage:Allow offline mail

Navigate the app

Send messages

Click 

 Compose to start writing messages. Your messages will be sent automatically when you’re back online. If you have a custom signature, it will be added to your messages when they’re sent.

You can add attachments, but the maximum size for a single attachment is 5 MB and the total size limit for all attachments in the message is 25 MB.
