6. Send people a link to a PDF version of your doc or sheet
Sometimes people prefer Adobe® PDF files because they’re easy to print, download, and open in existing programs. If you’re working in Google Docs or Google Sheets, there’s no need to convert your files to PDFs every time you want to share it in that format. Instead, use a link to a PDF version of your file.
Examples
When you update the source document or spreadsheet, the link goes directly to your updated version.
Save inbox storage space by not sending multiple PDFs to people every time you make a change.
If you have a Download as PDF link for collateral on your website, such as whitepapers, proposals, and reports, you don’t have to change the link every time you update the source material.
Avoid the difficulty of size limits on email attachments.
Eliminate the need for multiple versions of a file, like a PDF and a source file—all drafts and versions are in a single file.
