Metford Road Community Orchard - Hedge Laying, November 2017
In November 2017, the community orchard at Metford Road allotments employed Malcolm Dowling, a local and prize winning hedgelayer, to lay the hedge which marks the western boundary of the orchard, and to train them in this ancient skill. The hedge laying is well described here, and below are some pictures of the event.
