BS6 Green Space Audit was compiled by Nicky Hodges, in response to Bristol City Council's Ecological Emergency Action Plan 2021-25. This plan documents the vision to manage 30% of Bristol's land for nature by 2030. As owner or landlord of over a thirds of land in Bristol (including developed land) the council is well placed to develop initiatives in pursuit of this objective. Nicky set about to identify the green areas in the BS6 postcode area - not all of which are owned or managed by the council - and to find out what activities are taking place specifically with biodiversity enhancement in mind.
