Sponsor a New Tree on the Green

Thirteen new trees have been approved for planting in Redland Green under the TreeBristol scheme. Would you like to sponsor one?

TreeBristol is a scheme run by Bristol City Council for sponsoring the planting and aftercare of thousands of new trees in Bristol in parks and other open spaces. You can find out more here on the council's website.

The species, and their locations, approved by the tree officer for Redland Green, are three river birch, three hawthorn, two yew, two caramel trees and a Chinese crabapple. Three have already been sponsored: a hawthorn, a silver birch and a Bristol whitebeam and eleven remain to be so. The map below shows those trees already sponsored and the locations in need of sponsorship. You can also view this map on the web. The web version is not necessarily up-to-date, however. If you're interested in sponsoring a tree, please contact trees@rgcg.org.uk for the most up-to-date information.

The most recently sponsored tree was planted by Laura Emms on 16 February this year.
