3. The saide defend[a]nnt Sayethe that the sayed bill of Complaynte is insufficient & uncerten in the lawe to be answered unto and the maters therin contayned of untroyethe

4. only devysed to put the sayde defend[a]nnte to great cost[es] expenc[es] & troble . And if the maters therin contayned were true as they be not were maters determynable at

6. farther answere. Then for answere Sayethe that as to one Meassuage & too ten[emen]t[es] in Trewyers contaynyng by estymacyon lxxx [80] acres of arrable lande w[ith] his app[ur]ten[a]nc[es]
