In the name and feare of the Lord and by the guide of the holy spirit I Abraham Pomeroy being bound to sea Raben(?) make this my last will and Testament in manner and form following. First I do remitt(?) my soule and body into the hands of Jesus Christ my maker and redeemer by whom I hope to inherit eternall life. First I give unto my sonne John Pomeroy five pounds(?), more I give to my daughter Elizabeth now the wife of Jonathan Penrose(?) one shilling, more I give unto my sonne Abraham Pomeroy fifteen pounds, more I give unto my sonne Leonard Pomeroy fifteen pounds, more I give unto my sonne Jacob(?) Pomeroy fifteen pounds, more I give unto my wife Judith Pomeroy all my household goods whatsoever with the money that her father hath promised to pay in marriage, moreover I give unto my said wife all the remaynes of my good and debts owing or may be owing unto me at the tyme of my death and also I do make my sonne Jacob(?) Pomeroy my hole and sole executor giving him twenty shillings above any of the rest of my sonnes. And moreover I do hereby desire and appoint Mr. Nicholas Dooble(?) the younger Minister of God’s word in Castorli(?), one Samuel Dorowish(?) of Castorli(?) to see that my wish is performed with their trust(?) and (-?-) of this my said wife and children and for their spouses(?) I do give them ten shillings a piece as witness my hand and seale on this the Twentieth day of March in the yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred fifty five. Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of us Robert Sperry(?), Edward Cuantroy(?).
