Amongst the various service learning projects, i choose Fei Yue Student Care Centre, as I wanted to make a positive change by tutoring underprivileged students. This is especially so in Singapore, where despite it being common for students to have tutors, it may still be considered a luxury to some. Since there are insufficient teachers at at Fei Yue Student Care Centre, we assist them by providing tuition sessions fortnightly. We mainly guide the students in completion of their school assignments, such as school homework, or preparation for spelling, dictation and so on.
