The mast cells stabiliser cromolyn sodium is available as a nasal spray. Cromolyn sodium has to be taken as prophylaxis (prevention) from before the start of the allergy season, and then it will both reduce the symptoms and improve the quality of life in people with rhinitis and rhinorrhea.
