There have been so many things we have covered in this course that I could have chosen as my signature assignment. Some may think the one I chose is to simple but I would argue that one that will be used over and over again and shared with fellow colleagues is one that is worthy of being called a signature assignment. I may have gone a bit overboard with what I have but into this sample here in this blog post because I've added to or recreated so to speak for my signature assignment post.
It comes from the one session I was not able to attend due to a school concert. The Google Apps and YouTube session with John Sowash. He shared ways to srub or clean a YouTube video by placing them into a Google Presentation. It is something I can share with fellow teacher to make Videos more usable for viewing in the classroom. Sometimes we over look the simple for the complicated. I know in my busy hectic life there are times I can not see the forest for the trees. This was one of those ah ha moments for me during this course. I have said it before in posts and I will say it one more time I've put videos in presentations as part of a presentation but never thought about using a presentation for a video as a way to get rid of the comments and the side vids that are inappropriate for student view.
