One of the things I have enjoyed the most since starting the IEC program is the sharing of information through G+. While the last couple of weeks have been incredibly busy for me with winter performances at school I have been able to at least check in to the community daily on my phone to read any new posts.
While I have been on Diigo to check out the articles there I find that I have not yet gotten into the pattern/habit of check Diigo as much as I should. I have found most of the information I have shared through blogs I read and links from posts in either other G+ communities or twitter.
Thanks to an article Mary Bennett shared with me I have been able to add my twitter feed to my home page of this site.
A Pinterest board was started by Mari and I that gives us another space to collect relevant material. One of the things I like about pinterest is the visual layout. As a visual person I find it appealing.
With our current focus on Google there was a very timely article that came out this week about changes coming in the future for Google. They are creating specific versions of their products for kids 12 and under. Working in a school District that has not bought into becoming a GAFE school District I'm hopeful this will help change their mind.
