Campus Access for Visitors on Weekends

If you have a visitor with you or are a visitor yourself, you will need to enter campus via the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Facility (CVIF) – Building 67 (on Rockville Pike between North Drive and Wilson Drive). (Both pedestrians and vehicles enter here).

Please allow 10-15 minutes for a guest to get their visitor badges. Visitors will need one (1) form of identification (a government-issued photo ID-driver's license, passport, green card, etc.).

Security will ask which building you are going to: Building 53

Bldg 53 Gym Parking:

Non NIH WLC users:

-The green area directly above the number "53" shows paid visitor parking open to any visitor.

Metered parking $2 per hour: Monday – Friday . Enforced 7am – 7pm weekdays

WLC users with NIH parking permit:

-There are 9 parking places in front of bldg 53 that are marked RED permit only. These spaces are open to all with any type NIH parking permit AFTER 3 pm M-F, and all day on holidays or weekends.

DO NOT park in a directors space anytime.

-Easily available parking for any permitted NIH employee is shown on the map by the yellow arrow.
