3. Diet Don'ts
Don't overload with large meals...the first 3 or 4 days of a diet are the hardest because the stomach is stretched; after this initial period the stomach adjusts to smaller portions and hunger pains lessen.
Don't eat fried foods (unless cooked without fats in a no-stick pan).
Don't eat nuts or peanut butter.
Don't eat rich, sugary-sweet desserts such as cakes, pies, puddings, chocolate, ice cream, or candies (you can enjoy them again in limited quantities after you're down to your desired weight).
Don't use rich, heavy dressings and gravies on meats, salads or any servings.
Use a minimum of fats, oils, butters or margarine.
Avoid using spicy condiments such as catsup, chili, mustard, Tabasco, or Worcestershire sauces and relishes.
Don't eat quickly, instead chew all food very slowly.
