"Intro Sequence"
For this activity, you will use video of at least four people in an 'intro' for a show.
- A freeze frame of that intro sequence that is colored differently than the rest of the clip. The freeze frame should be selected at a key point in the action, not just randomly in their movements.
- On the freeze frame, animate a crop from one side (or top/bottom) to provide an area for text to move in.
- Change the color of the freeze frame photo. THere are several ways to do this, both in Premiere and outside of it. You have to brainstorm a way to make this happen!
- HINT: Export the freeze frame, and then add it in separately after splitting the clip at that point. don't use the 'add to movie' option when taking the freeze frame!
- Animated text moving in from the edge of the screen during the start of the freeze frame, then fading away before it starts moving again.
- Use the 'DEFAULT TEXT,' and do the animation on your own with the FX panel (motion, opacity, etc).
Accessing Premiere Elements on these PC's requires going to the following file. I recommend pinning it to the taskbar when you do so, in order to save time in the future. NOTICE THE LIST OF FOLDERS IN THE ADDRESS BAR.
