"Genesis and Biblical Discernment" by Mike Riddle on June 20, 2014. Some people say "God could have used evolution to create everything." But if He used evolution then Genesis is only allegorical, and death had been present for millions of years. There was therefore no actual Adam and Eve who introduced sin into the world. If sin wasn't the cause of death, why did Jesus have to go to the cross?The seminar started by discussing biblical discernment based on 1 Thes. 5:21-22:

“Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.”

These three examples were used as lessons on biblical discernment: 1. How long were the days of creation?

2. Did God use evolution?

3. What schools are teaching and not teaching.

The seminar then focused on Christian youth and why so many are leaving the church. The seminar concluded with a four-part strategy to help our students defend their faith and hold firm to God’s Word.
