“In the Beginning:” A 12-Week Class on the Creation-Evolution Controversy

Creation or evolution—does it really matter? Couldn’t God have used evolution to create the world? Should the creation account in Genesis be taken literally?
Is it perhaps better to just preach about Jesus rather than create another divisive issue?
This class examines not only the science but the materialistic philosophy behind evolutionary thought, as well as Scriptural evidence.
Some of the topics covered include:
- Results of evolution on society
- The fossil record
- Age of the earth
- Dinosaurs and the Bible
- Chemical evolution and the origin of life
- Ape-men and cave men.
Bring your questions about supposed proofs of evolution. Your faith in the written Word will increase as we explore the wonders of creation!
