We’ll be using the hashtag #metagame tagging in social media.
Our primary channels for the course will be twitter, reddit, Discord and Google Hangouts.
We livestream our Google Hangouts over the Games MOOC YouTube Channel.
Our asynchronous text based discussions have moved from the Metagame Book Club Google + Community to a subreddit on reddit. If you are blogging on your own site, please post the link and a few sentences. We will also be adding a Discord channel soon.
We'll do synchronous events over the Games MOOC YouTube Channel. To participate in the text chat just login using your YouTube account. There's no requirement to come to the live events as we will be recording them, but we'd love to have you there.
We'd also like to encourage you to use Flickr to post pictures and screenshots. We're using the Games & Sims Networks new Flickr site. If you aren't already a member, then just go there and ask for invite. Feel free to go and post a picture of how you are reading For the Win or even a picture of yourself reading the book. We also love screenshots!
