Little did they know......one of our initiatives for 2015 - 2016 is introducing Interactive Fiction (IF) as a game genre.
Interactive is a computer game genre that offers players the ability to interact with game narrative via
text commends and is typically characterized by mainly text with few visuals.
We started in the Spring with Sherry Jones introducing Interactive Fiction and Narrative through Track 1 of the #Metagame Book Club. Here's the page with her curated list of IF and the Google Hangout where we played some of these.
At the 2015 Conference in Philadelphia we have these activities on IF.

This was informal, sit-down at tables of 8 - 10.
