1282 Thomas atte Mede, imprisoned at Maydenstan (Maidstone), Kent, for the death of William son of Alexander atte Mede, wherewith he is charged, has letters to the sheriff of Kent to bail him.

1293 John de la Mede, who was hanged for felony, held a messuage, 50 acres of land and 4 acres of meadow in La Hulle, Wolveston and Aulescombe, Devon.

1324 To the sheriff of Buckingham. Order to cause a coroner to be elected in place of William atte Mede of Pithelestorne (Pitstone), Bucks, deceased.

1327 To Thomas de Huntercombe, constable of Windsor Castle. Order to release John atte Mede from that castle, the constable having certified to the king that he was captured by Ralph de Camoys and William le Hunt because William found him with his bow and arrows in the new park in Windsor forest and charged him with entering the park to do harm to the king's venison, but no trespass was found with him.

1331 Bartholomew atte Mede, witness to a release by John de Aqua to Ralph le Speek of his rights in the manor of Ertecombe (Yarcombe) Devon.

1335 Henry atte Mede of Gloucestershire, 18 d to Joan late wife of Thomas de Redeberwe.

1340 Wool, sheepskins and other goods laded in the port of London in a ship of Alan atte Mede (of Sandwich, Kent?) to be taken to Bruges in Flanders.

1340 Thomas atte Mede of London, draper, has shown the king that he is not the same Thomas atte Mede of London who is being sued by Nicholas Crane, citizen of London.

1341 Suit of John de Bousser, archdeacon of Essex, that Gilbert Pecche, John atte Mede and others captured him by force of arms at Wrotyng (Wratting) Essex, imprisoned and maltreated him.

1342 Maurice Turgis, citizen and draper of London, acknowledges that he owes to Thomas atte Mede, citizen and draper of London, £100, to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands and chattels in Surrey.

1346 Bartholomew atte Mede, witness to a deed testifying that John Somery of Devon owes £300 to Nicholas de Teukesbury. Dated at London in Wood Street.

1351 Release by Walter de Finchingfield to Gilbert Blount of Plesset and Richard Ban, of all his claim to the lands which they jointly held with Sir Roger atte Mede of Dovercourt, Essex, chaplain, and John Smelt of his gift and enfeoffment in the towns of Moese Beaumonde, Great Ocle and Ramsey, Essex.

1351 Release by Walter de Finchingfield to John de Finchingfield his kinsman, of his claim to those lands which he lately had of the gift and enfeoffment of Sir Roger atte Mede, chaplain of the chapel of La Brendwode.

1368 Writing of Valentine atte Mede of Bromden (Bramdean), Hants, being a quitclaim of the manor of Boarhunt Herberd, Hants, and all lands sometime of John de Boarhunt of Southwyke.

1369 Charter of Valentine atte Mede, giving to William de Wykeham, bishop of Winchester, his heirs and assigns, the manor of Henton (Hinton), Hants, with woods, meadows, etc.

1371 To Michael atte Mede. Order not to meddle in the office of escheator of Devon, although by letters patent the king has committed that office to him, the king has now revoked that commission.

1377 Joan de Mohun of Dunsterre (Dunster), Somerset, Aubrey de Veer, knight, and Michael atte Mede, to Roger Lestraunge of Knokyn (Knockin), Salop, knight. Recognisance for 900 marks to be levied in default of payment of their lands in Somerset.

1377 Order to stay the execution of the king's writ against Ivo Fitzwarin, knight, Thomas Mede and others as at the request of Ralph bishop of Salisbury they were excommunicated, and now they have appealed to the see of Rome from that sentence as being unjust. The like to the sheriff of Somerset and the sheriff of Dorset.

1385 To the warden of the Fleet prison. Order by mainprise of John Meede of Middlesex and others to set free Richard Bromfeld of Mepham.

1421 Mainprise (surety) under penalty of £40, made by John Mede, fuller, and Edmund Wryght, yeoman, both of Waltham, Essex, for Richard Grene of Waltham, and of an undertaking by him that he shall appear in person in chancery.

1433 Ralph Taverner of St. Mary Matfeloun without Aldgate, London, potter, to Nicholas West, "foundour", and William Warde, ironmonger, citizens of London, and to John Taverner of Essex, husbandman. Gift of all his goods and chattels. Witness: John Mede, "pasteler" (dyer?). Dated at London.

1451 Charter of the lands called "Hervies" with 3 crofts of land in Stisted, Braintree and Rayne, Essex, which John Maistre and Richard Burbage had by gift of Thomas Mede of Pattiswick, Essex, and others.

1468 Letter of attorney by Margaret Lady Hungerford appointing William Warder and Patrick Mede as her attorneys to convey seisin in her name of the manor of Chyverell Parva, Wilts.
