Lyme and tick borne diseases can be a minor inconvenience or a life time struggle. Treating aggressively and quickly can help make the difference in the final outcome.

The old "wait and see if you get sick approach" after exposure to ticks is NOT advised. The officially discredited "one-dose of doxycycline cures Lyme disease" theory is also NOT advised.

If you suspect you've been exposed to ticks or other disease carrying vectors, please contact your health care professional and be properly treated- do not delay! It may help to take information from this site to your appointment with you because we want you to...

TREATMENT GUIDELINES

We recommend Dr. Joseph Burrascao's Advanced Topic's in Lyme Disease. To date, it is the most accurate and widely used diagnostic and treatment protocol for people with acute and chronic Lyme and tick borne diseases.

The guidelines are at the following site- click HERE

*Note- Please ask your own doctor about tick and vector borne diseases and viruses, including: Anaplasma, Ehrlichiosis, STARI, Borrelia miyamotoi, Bartonella (various strains), Babesia microti, Babesia duncani, Tularemia (rabbit fever), Histoplasmosis, Leptospirosis, Morgellons, Brucellosis, Epstein Barr, Parvovirus B-19, Lyme disease (Borrelia burgdorferi), STARI or Master's Disease (Borrelia lonestari), Anaplasmosis, Q-Fever, Salmonella, Leptospirosis, Trichinosis, the newly discovered Spotted Fever (Borrelia amblyommii), and Mycoplasmas. Epstein Barr virus and Herpes viruses are often found (original or reactivated?) in patients with tick and vector borne infections.

These infections, especially when not detected, can complicate or be counter productive to your health and treatment protocols.
