On May 2 an energetic work party assembled at our club and got things ship shape. That evening, we held our first social event of 2015, the Prep Signal Party. The following week we raised masts and celebrated Cinco de Mayo. Regular racing began on May 17 and continues every week until October 18. Races are on Sundays starting at 1:00 pm. We hold regattas open to all Lake Mohawk Country Club members with any type of sailboat. Our first regatta will be on June 6. The following is a list of upcoming events:

We will also offer lessons for juniors (starting at age 10) and adults. The program will run from July 6 until August 7. Space is limited so sign up early. Here are the particulars:

Sailing Level 1:

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

AM Class: 9:30 am to 12:15 pm or

PM Class: 1:15 pm to 4:00 pm –Tuition $375.0

Sailing Level 2:

Introduction to Snipe Sailing –

Wednesday & Friday

9:30 am to 12:15 pm – Tuition $250.00

Sailing Level 3 and 3+

Sailing in Snipes

Wednesday & Fr

1:15 pm to 4:00 pm – Tuition $250.00
