Junior Sailing Program

The Junior Sailing Program is returning once again for Summer 2026 from July 13- July 30, Monday - Thursday from 4-6pm. The program teaches children ages 10+, who are LMCC Members or who are residents of Sussex County, with no prior sailing experience the skills to captain their own Sunfish in just 3 short weeks. The course is also a great refresh for young sailors who wish to refine their skillset. Each day includes a mix of reviewing previous content and skill learning through fun, interactive games on and off the water. From safety and rigging up the boats to capsize recovery and jibing, each day includes a new and exciting challenge.
