The Lake Mohawk Yacht Club is looking forward to a great year in 2023! We elected a new slate of

officers at our 2022 Annual Meeting on November 5th, as follows:

Congratulations to all, and thanks to all for the many years of service already contributed. We have the responsibilities of property maintenance, boat maintenance, sailing activities and social activities which require many days of work and we are grateful to all officers and members who come out to help.

Over this winter we plan to have some sailing program activities with how-to pointers, racing tips, and just plain fun, to include both present and potential members. We will post the information on our website as well as the LMCC members FB page.

The Yacht Club’s website has so much information – I hope you will visit it and see what’s there. Our webmaster Ian Oldridge keeps it full of pictures, news, and several sailing videos which are fun to watch and a great way to learn some sailing maneuvers. www.LakeMohawkSailing.org

Let’s keep our fingers crossed that we have great ice on the lake this winter, so we can all enjoy watching the ice boats whizzing across the lake. Most of them sail out of Happy Valley Beach, pictured here with masts in view.
