Now hear this! The Lake Mohawk Yacht Club is preparing to set sail for 2015 so plan to join us. Regular racing is on Sundays with the first race starting at 1:00 pm. We will also hold three regattas that are open to all Lake Mohawk Country Club members with any type of sailboat. The following is a list of tentative dates for our major events so that you can mark your calendars:

• Mast Raising & Cinco de Mayo Party May 9
• First Day of Racing May 17
• Gabor Cup Regatta & Makani Party June 6
• Independence Day Party July 4
• Marine Base Regatta July 5
• Jack Robertson Cruising Day July 18
• Mutiny Regatta August 8
• Commodore’s Cup Regatta and Party September 6
• Annual Meeting October 17
• Last Day of Racing October 18
• Awards Party November 15

We will also offer lessons for juniors (starting at age 10) and adults. The program will run from July 6 until August 7. Space is limited so sign up early. Here are the particulars:

Sailling Level 1:

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

AM Class: 9:30 am to 12:15 pm or

PM Class: 1:15 pm to 4:00 pm –Tuition $375.0

Sailing Level 2:

Introduction to Snipe Sailing –

Wednesday & Friday

9:30 am to 12:15 pm – Tuition $250.00

Sailing Level 3 and 3+

Sailing in Snipes

Wednesday & Fr

1:15 pm to 4:00 pm – Tuition $250.00
