In fact, today I was supposed to continue my work on GMM segmentation and VBGMM. However, I just need to revise my MLSP 2011 paper due tomorrow!!! My plan is to update the results which are improved significantly when using new features, including creating new resulting images and correct some texts according to the changes of features and number of classes.

While running the new result, some updates on the ITSBN toolbox have been made, which results in the version 3.0.2.

Also, in order to evaluate the segmentation, I dust off my Cauchy-Schwarz-based precision-recall code I developed when submitting to MLSP in May. I intend to make it more user-friendly and document the code so that it's easier to use by anyone.

Figures produced by MATLAB usually come with white border needed to be removed, so I spent two hours coding a MATLAB code to remove the white border automatically and smartly. First I thought it would not take more than 10 minutes to finish the code, but it actually took me nearly 2 hours to experiment, code, test and do a little bit of packaging. Anyway, the toolbox is made available, so use it!--the more users, the less cost per hour I paid for wasting my time.
