Mutual Information-based Feature Ranking for MVPA of fMRI brain data

In this work, mutual information (MI) is used as a feature to rank the features (voxels). The results show that by using an appropriate number n, for first n ranks of MI-descend voxel ranking, the classification accuracy can be improved even in the ventral temporal (VT) cortex.
