Create a Tri-fold Brochure with information on the flower or plant that you photographed last week
Identify your flower or plant. Check the links provided below for your flower type.
Locate vital information on that flower or plant and write it in your own words.
growing and feeding instructions
perennial or annuals
care
pests
harvest / storage
recommended varieties
special features
other important information
Add images (ALL must be your own original images)
include at least one image on the cover, no more than three.
include your headline
include a subhead if you like
develop your contact information on the outside center back
develop your table of contents.
remember: no more than three different fonts and three different sizes. Gets distracting when you add more than that.
Fonts can become a graphic element like lines and shapes.
Use your flowers as part of your design. Make sure it is the same flower type throughout your brochure.
Use no more than 5 images inside the brochure.
The flower itself can become more of a graphic element by locating artistic effects in the PowerPoint presentation. If you cannot do this in PowerPoint, try it in your photo storage site or wait until Tuesday and I will walk you through it using Photoshop.
Develop the inside information and bold or highlight the title of each informational section.
Work on your e-portfolio website.
Add you images to your photo gallery page. You should have 4 images posted by now all in a 3 column format.
Make sure your archive page is up and running with 5 older images in it.
Your timeline should be working and up to date with ages 4-6 complete and 7-12 ready to update.
