Expansion Drawings

Your next assignment includes using what you learned in assignment #1 Value study. This is an expansion drawing. Click on this link https://youtu.be/HDe8rs2QxE8 and watch the video. it will explain the process.

1. Select a picture from a magazine or newspaper. An interior would be best.
2. Tape or glue it to a piece of copy paper 9x12 or 12x18
3. using the picture as inspiration, extend the lines from within the original picture in order to expand the picture. use your imagination and creativity.
4. use a ruler, pencil, eraser and tissue for blending. have fun
