PERSPECTIVE

Part 1: Traditional Perspective

Perspective is created by observing and intentionally manipulating space through overlapping, changing size, placement, color, detail and converging lines.

Students will study the art of Ansel Adams and then go on location to look for perspective elements throughout the city.

Part 2: Forced Perspective

The forced perspective technique manipulates our human perceptionwith the use of optical illusions to make objects appear larger, smaller, farther, or closer than they actually are.

Students will need to be creative, set up their image, be patience and use their imagination to create a new and original image that will manipulate the landscape and create something new.
