  • What is the purpose behind your piece other than just putting yourself in a picture multiple times.

  • Did you want to show your athletic ability, future career or multiple personalities?

  • You may wear different outfits or just change hats, it is up to you.

  • It is IMPERATIVE that each image stays perfectly still for a smooth transition.

  • HOW TO:

    • Set up your composition.

    • Take multiple photos of the same setup manipulating the space by capturing yourself or your subject in the foreground, middle-ground and background.

    • Download images to "multiple me" on your jump drive

    • Upload all viable images from the same composition to Photoshop

    • Decide on the background with the least distractions. This will be the image you will work on and create a background copy.

    • Select one of our series, select all, move the image to your background.

      • Complete the move by deselecting.

      • Create a layer mask

      • Change the opacity to 60% so you can see your subject beneath.

      • Use your paint brush to reveal your subject beneath (MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON THE LAYER MASK)

      • Take the opacity back to 100%

    • Repeat for each layer until complete

    • Be aware of tint and shade differences. We don't want to see the differences in the final piece.

    • Save as a .psd as

      • "LAST NAME MULTIPLE ME"

      • In your multiple me folder

    • Make sure you see shadows under foot, next to a cabinet. It should look real

    • Do a second one

    • Select your best to save as a .jpg "LAST NAME MULTIPLE ME"
