The writers of this issue have all written about the use of technology in different areas of English language teaching.

Dr.Babita Tyagi, in her paper on Advance Technical form of communication : E-mail writing discusses the different aspects of email writing. K.V.Madhavi , in her article on the Application of Technology to the Language classroom at Undergraduate level – Improving listening Skills Using Study Skills Success Software (SSS) deals with the emergence of Computer-assisted Language Learning (CALL) in the engineering education curriculum and focuses on the improvement of listening skills particularly with reference to Study Skills Success (SSS) software. Dr.Meena Kute and Shri.Pravin S.Kale tell us about the Use of e-Resources for the Teaching –Learning of English in their paper.

Shradha Kanwar in his article From Know-ledge to Tech-now-ledge says that technology is going to be the hallmark of any educated man and in coming times teachers need to innovate both in thought as well as action to create an environment of true knowledge.

Chandrika Mohan in her writing discusses the Impact of AVP Technique in Learning Listening Skills in English at High School Level. J. Jaya Parveen and V. Rajesh in their article Multimedia in English Language Teaching – An Empirical Analysis shows us how the integration of multimedia tools into the teaching of English would ensure high-quality instruction.

Dr. Reetinder Joshi and Gurpreet Kaur in their article Role of Internet in Language Learning Classroom highlight the practical benefits as well as problems involved in using the internet by a language teacher in his classroom. G.Gulam Tariq, Syed Samiuddin and P.Veena in their article Paradigm Shift in the Teaching if English – Some Reflections discuss the pros and cons of technology aided language teaching and how it helps both the teacher and the learner
