Voyant -Tools

One of the tools I am playing around with is Voyant. With its easy to grasp interface and output screen, one can easily visualize certain aspects of a text. I still have to try it more to discover all its advantages (and disadvantages) but its main output screen seems to put a lot of emphasis on word frequencies with a Wordle-like upper left hand screen and a frequency list in the lower left hand corner. The screen shot shown here is for the Hartmann text mentioned in the "Parallel Text" section.

Voyant has the option of disregarding a list of stopwords and even has such lists ready for many different languages.
