Steps
Requests some food, return with the required items.
Eliminate the Ash-Grey Spider in the cave or the house. The fight will start upon clicking on the entrance.
You will fight Ash-Grey Spider [6] (1617 health) and 2 Female Fire Spiders [3] (138 health). Due to this being a quest fight other players won't be able to help. Summons are most likely required.
The Negators of Unarius can be equipped to the Bracers slot. You need to have them equipped to be able to pick Fire Flower and Cuckoo Flowers.
Fire Flower can be found in Fort Dybrach and Settlement of Buimar. After any successful procurement of one there is a chance to get a Burn.
A burn is an injury of the Bracers slot and reduces speed by 10 as well as drain 5 life every 10 seconds in fights. It lasts for 3 hours however the duration can increase should you sustain an hand injury while it is active.
It can be removed with a Scroll of Healing Burns which players with 500 Brotherhood of Virtue reputation can make.
Cuckoo Flower can be found in Haunted Place on the Islands of Fay-Go. After any successful procurement of one there is a chance to get Mark of Death.
The Mark of Death is an effect that reduces speed by 20 as well as drain 10 life every 10 seconds in fights. It lasts for 3 hours.
Whenever you get one of these effects your Negators as well as the weapon you were holding will be unequipped. The burn prevents putting on bracers.
While under the effect of either Burn or Mark of Death you will not be able to put on a tool, thus you will nto be able to work your primary profession.
These side effects can be removed from a member of the Brotherhood of Virtue given that they have enough reputation to make the needed scroll.

Events:
Aside from flowers the negators are also needed to take part in the regular event Failed Experiment. Use the negators to disrupt the Black Holes and in doing so you may find the Strange Mechanism which starts a Mini Quest.
