Gathering Competition

To be able to receive tokens and thus partake in the event, you need to be in possession of a Mining Patent. This can usually be purchased for a discount in the premium shop a few days in advance. The news specify the time window in which the discount is active. After this, the Patent can still be purchased at full price.

In the active phase of the event you can get Insignias for collecting resources. The amount of insignias you receive depend on the resources you pick.

For example level 3 resources give 1 insignia per resource, purple level 9 or 11 resources yield 2 insignias each, most blue resources give as much as 3. Red resources of skill level 120 will reward your patience with 20 tokens. Red resources for skill levels 180 and 240 guarantee 3 insignias.

Each resource picked has a chance to give additional insignias at random.

Note: Picking Fire Flowers, Cuckoo Flowers, castle resource and forest resources does not give insignias.

As the name of the event suggests, it's a competition. Thus there is a reward waiting for the players that have obtained the most insgnias for each type.

The ranking in ratings is updated once a day with the other ratings.

The insignias you receive from picking can be exchanged for Gatherer's Money in the Resource Gatherers Store in City Fair.

To have a better exchange rate, you have the option to buy a Honorary Vendor Label. Just like the Mining Patent, this is sold in the premium shop and is available at a discounted rate for a limited time.
