Faulty Efrils

Faulty Efril's are the out come of a bad Efril Replication. Due to the lack of energy the crystal cracked creating a faulty piece.

Where to find Faulty Efril's

There are several locations you can find these items.

1. Event Rewards: Twilight Meadows / Silent Steppe for reaching 500 influence you will receive 10 Faulty Efril.

2. Quest Level 4 "An Uncooperative Chest" from Blacksmith in Ancestral Mountains / Stavros in Luan Coast. Rewards are 1500 Experience, 4 Efril, 5 Faulty Efril.

3. Gnome Caskets: Opening gnome runesrunes in there correct location gives you a small chance of finding several in one casket.

4. Stashes: Efrils can be found in the ruin in Plateau of Silence, ruins in Haunted Place or the corpse in the Web in Kretches' Lair. Faulty Efrils can also be found in chests and caskets.

5. Efril Replication: Occasionally the Efril Replication will fail resulting in the creation of a Faulty Efril. See below for more information on replicators.

6. Clan Citadel: You can convert normal Efrils into Faulty Efrils in a level 3 Greenhouse (5 pcs per conversion, takes 24 hrs).

Efril Replicators

If you have 1000 Relic Seeker reputation you can buy the Empty Efril Replicator for 30g from the Antiquarians shop. To enter the shop talk to Menachem in Valley of Fire or Samary in Outskirts of Klesva.

It requires 3 Efril to start the machine. Afterwards the Replicator can be used once a day (based on the games time).

When you click to use it it will produce 1-3 Efrils. On occasion the process will fail and you will receive 1 Faulty Efril as a result. The result is random.

If you have 2000 Relic Seeker reputation you can buy the Replicator Improvement Blueprint for 35g in the Antquarians shop.

Use the Blueprint to upgrade your Efril Replicator to an Improved Efril Replicator.

It has a greatly increased chance to produce 3 Efril per use.

Quest: An Unusual Invention

After collecting the 20 Faulty Efrils needed to complete this quest you will be rewarded with 500 Experience and your choice of Draft Souvenir's. Note: It is not possible to obtain all 3 drafts.

Each draft will require different Fragment pieces in order to construct the souvenir. To get these fragment pieces you will first need to obtain the Mica Mallet. It can be purchased for 3g in the Antiquarians shop if you have at least 500 Relic Seeker reputation.

The Mica Mallet can be used to break the Faulty Efrils into fragments. The result is random and you will receive one or several of these pieces:

With the required Fragments and the Draft you can make one of these Gifts. The souvenir's are an item required for a level 6 quest The Secret of Fay-Go for which you need to have all three in your possession. They count if gifted to you or in your backpack.

Minotaur Amulet of Call

Opening Gnomes Caskets found from activating Gnome Runes there is a chance to find Minotaur Amulet of Call Design. Using one of them while having the specified Efril Fragments you will receive a Mintoaur Amulet of Call.
